"Cherish the ones who contribute to your growth" - Rob Hill Sr.Forgetting those who was there when we were going through challenging times in our lives, when we did not have much, when we were at the very beginning of our personal development and our professional journeys, is one of the biggest mistakes we can make as individuals. We must remember that many if not all successes that we were fortunate to achieve in our lives were because of belief and support that we had received from individual(s) who believed in us and our success, even when we were doubting ourselves.

"Why do you cling to pain? There is nothing you can do about the wrongs of yesterday. It is not your to judge. Why hold on to the very thing which keeps you from hope and love?" - Leo BuseagliaI think that it is very important for people to remember that we cannot change the past. We go through life's experiences - good and bad, happy and sad, and move on. Life moves on, so should we. We can, however, focus our time, energy, and focus on the present and the future. If we made mistakes in the past, we should have learned from those experiences, and don't repeat them again. Our past is a great teacher which can us to prepare for the future, as long as we are ready and willing to learn and let go of the past, while focusing on what's ahead of us instead.
"Everything you can imagine is real" - Pablo PicassoBefore great achievements become reality, they first start as plans and ideas in our minds. However, before they become plans in our mind we see these achievements in our dreams, in our imagination. Therefore, before we can achieve something great we first must see it in our imagination, in our dreams. Thus, if we have extreme determination desire, and patience to turn our dreams and images in our mind into reality, we have an opportunity to do so if we truly believe in ourselves and that we can capable of achieving great things.
"It's not about perfect. It's about effort. And when you bring that effort every single day, that's how change occurs." - Jillian MichaelsOften we worry about that what we do, how we do it, or that we aren't perfect. However, what we tend to forget is that we don't have to be perfect in everything that we do, or how we look. What is more important is doing your best in delivering top quality work and presenting yourself accordingly every single day. If you simply try and do your best in everything that you do or start, regardless what other people may think or say, you are doing your part. What's equally important to delivering top quality work is consistency. It's not enough to do it once or twice and stop. If you had started something, it's important that you finish it regardless how long it may take. Of course, as you know, personal development is one thing that never ends.
"No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth" - PlutoI believe that it's important that we speak the truth. It is also important that we understand and accept the fact that many people do not like and are not ready to hear the truth Unfortunately, many of us prefer to live in a world where we are surrounded by lies, in a world of false reality which we create simply because it is much easier to live in such way. When we choose to avoid the truth to escape from conflict and escape from a reality, we create imaginary 'everything-is-good' world around us, even though somewhere deep inside we know that one day we would have to face the reality. And yet, we tend to hold on to false realities created by us in our own minds, just because we feel better that way, even if such feeling is temporary.
"You stop explaining yourself when you realize people only understand from their level of perception" - Jim CarreyIf you are someone who places a great deal of importance on what other people think of you and how they view you, then you should also remember that to most people their perception is the reality. Which means, when we take time to understand what perception we give out by asking questions and listening to feedback received, we can adjust and modify the perception we give out and, therefore, change how we are being perceived.
"No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow your progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn't trying" - Tony RobbinsThe way I see this is progress is still a progress regardless how slow that progress may be. Doing something that we feel passionate about, doing something that we enjoy every day is very important, even if we doing it part-time. What's important is not how fast, but getting started and following through on our goals and commitments. Who cares if we make mistakes, as long as we are learning and progressing forward. The only sure way not to make any mistakes is not to do anything and take no action. Remember, when we take no action, we see no results.
"Sometimes those who are heartless, once cared too much" - Al PacinoThis is to all people managers and leaders out there. Remember this quote when managing and leading your individual employees and teams. We must always be aware of what our employees are thinking and feeling about working for us and the business which we and they represent. We do not want to push employees to the point where they no longer care about the important work that they do every day. Therefore, it's imperative that we speak with our employees regularly and listen to their valuable feedback as well as wants and needs, and then do everything we can to address those needs
"What's the point of being in the game, if it's not to win?" - Andre FergusonIt's like setting a new goal already knowing that we will not reach it. When we set out to do something important, such as setting a new goal that we really want to reach or new habit that we want to establish, we must be ready to do what it takes for as long as it takes until that goal has been reached. Yes, it will be difficult, yes, our determination will be challenged, however, when we commit to a goal, we should not stop until we get there despite all the challenges along the way.
"A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because, her trust is not on the branch but on it's wings" - Denzel WashingtonSo often we place our trust on external factors, hoping that when we need help and support it will be there no matter what. However, to our big disappointment that help and support is often not there when we need it. Therefore, I believe that we must always rely on our own strengths, resources, and abilities, have trust in ourselves despite how difficult or challenging things may get. When we rely on ourselves, we know that the only person who can and will find a solution to whichever problem we may be facing is us.
