About
Hello everyone! My name is Alex E Kheyson. I am very passionate about leadership and helping others to learn and grow. I have many years of team building and individual development experience that I am thrilled to share with you.
I know there are many people all over the world who want to become better and successful leaders. However, there's just so much information available in the field of leadership and personal development, from millions of books to online resources to choose from, that it can be overwhelming trying to decide what is right for you based on goals and objectives that you have. That is why I created the Heart & Mind of a Leader website and blog in order to conveniently share best practices in the field of Leadership, Personal and Team Development, motivation and much more all in one place.

Why me?
I was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to the United States with my family many years ago without knowing a single word in English. Well, maybe two words: "Thank you." Therefore, my parents took me to the Junior High school close by our apartment complex after approximately two weeks of us living in the United States. When I left Ukraine I was just starting the 9th grade, therefore, I started in the 9th grade at the Junior High school I was now attending, with approximately 6 months left before transitioning into the High School...
