"You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks" - Winston Churchill
Every day our attention and focus are already pulled in many different directions, which makes it very difficult to focus on one thing, one objective at a time. That is why if we hope to accomplish something that's important to us, we must focus on that one thing, ignoring all other distractions until our main goal and objective has been successfully accomplished. Because, if we stop and turn our attention to new distraction, we would never be able to move forward. It's like walking into a meeting and expecting to walk out solving all problems, issues and concerns. It's just not realistic. Instead, walking into a meeting and focusing all attention on one main core issue and/or objective, you should expect to make a significant progress or, even better, finding a solution with everyone's focus geared towards one thing, and not pulled in million different directions.
