Leadership, Personal Development, Motivation Blog Series
It’s amazing and unbelievable how quickly the full year has gone by. It feels as it wasn’t that long ago we were celebrating New Year 2015, making wishes, and thanking everyone in our life who has been there for us and supported us throughout the year. Fast forward 12 months and we are now celebrating New Year 2016, and sharing our thanks and reflect on the past several months with everyone who helped us to push through this year, through happy and challenging times.
So, what are you thankful for in 2016? What important life lessons have you learned this year?
For me, there are so many things that I am personally thankful for this year of 2016.
This has been an amazing year, full of surprises, challenges, and great moments. I am thankful for having roof over my and my family members’ heads, warm and cozy home, food that I am able to put on my family’s table every day, nice clothes that I can put on myself and my family members, and, of course, opportunities that were presented to me this year to continue my personal and professional development, as well as helping other people through education to discover strength, courage, and motivation to keep moving forward and pursuing their dreams.
What I always keep separate from my work is my family and close friends. I am extremely thankful for the people that I have in my life by my side – my wife, who is always there to support and encourage me, my kids, who are the reason for everything that I do, my best friend, who I can always depend on, regardless how far we may be geographically, and, of course, my parents who support me and accept me for who I am.
I know that I’ve listed so many things and people that I am personally thankful for, so now it’s your turn. What are you thankful for this year? Send me an email at Alex@heartandmindofaleader.com
Remember, to live in a moment, appreciate everything and everyone that you have in your life at any given moment, appreciate all opportunities to learn from your failures, mistakes, and successes, and remain positive and optimistic while sharing that positivity with others around you.
Be on the lookout for opportunities in 2017, be flexible, open and willing to change. So, let’s have another great year full of thanks, because you deserve it.
