Personal Development, Leadership, MotivationWhy do some people feel the sense of unhappiness once they have reached their lifetime goals and are extremely successful? Shouldn’t we be very happy that we finally achieved the highest level of success personally and professionally? The simple answer is yes, we should be very happy. So, why then some people experience unhappiness? I believe that one of the reasons for unhappiness when you are at the very top, is that now we have everything that we wanted to have, and achieved everything that we wanted to achieve. So, in our mind the question is: “now what?” What do we do when we have everything? We’ve spent all our energy and time to achieve our dream(s), and now we are there. Once you are at the ‘top’, what are the next steps? Once we achieve all our personal and professional goals, it is important to remember that we can invest our energy, time, and resources to help others in need, and not necessarily only from the financial standpoint, but also from personal development perspective. There are so many people who are in need of guidance and for someone to mentor them as part of their personal development, that there’s always an opportunity for individuals who have achieved success to offer their assistance. What’s the outcome? Keep driving to achieve all your goals and dreams, and once you are there, once you have reached the top, then look for opportunities to share your knowledge and wisdom with others who may be seeking help and are in need of someone’s guidance. There are always ways to contribute and make our world a better place. So, personal goal achievement is just a beginning of the exciting journey which opens up so many ways and opportunities to keep driving your vision forward.
