Module 13 - Attributes of a Successful Leader - Charisma

Hey Everyone,

In this module I am discussing another very important attribute of a successful leader - charisma. Why is it important to be a charismatic leader?

If you are uncharismatic, have low energy, low drive when interacting with other people, most likely they will not be following you for a very long before they turn to someone who is charismatic, driven, full of energy, someone who will inspire them.

Charismatic leaders inspire action  in others. People want to do more, try harder, push themselves to achieve greater results and encourage others to do the same, when they are inspired by their leader who can bring out the best in them

Charisma is the skill that can be learned by practice, being open with others, sharing your obstacles that you had to overcome in your life/career, maintaining high level of energy at all times, and smile when you speak

Three takeaways from this module:

1. Show your drive and energy when speaking and leading others
2. SMILE when you speak
3. Be open and personable with others. Help people uncover charismatic and confident leaders inside of them
