Some of the key questions and points that I cover in this episode are:

  • Progress associated with pursuit of our goals and dreams in life - why is it important to understand how progress or lack thereof may have a direct effect on our desire to go after that what we truly want?
  • What is the main inhibitor of progress? Why many of us give up before we reach the finish line, before we accomplish that what we had started, something that we cared about before? What is different now? Is it less important to us now than it was few days, weeks, months, or even years ago?
  • Wil you stop pursuing your lifetime goal or dream if/when you do not see an immediate progress or result, or will you keep going, keep trying, keep working and making perhaps small but determined steps forward until you eventually reach and accomplish your one thing that you've been thinking and dreaming about?
  • Why so many of us stop half way from the finish line? What factors impact our desire and willingness to keep trying, keep fighting for what we want and hope to achieve? Do we change or do we simply lose hope and give up too soon?

I hope you enjoyed listening and find this episode useful for you or someone else that you may know. Please share this episode if you know someone who may benefit from listening to it

Some of the key questions and points that I cover in this episode are:
  • Why it is always important to consider both sides of any situation? What are some of the potential negative outcomes if and when we do not look at each situation from a big picture perspective, considering all options and alternatives vs. immediately focusing on the negativity and difficulty in a situation at hand?
  • It's not as bad as it may seem, it's all about how we look at each obstacle that we face in our lives. Things can be good if we focus on finding good even at times when things may be difficult. What are you focusing on when faced with difficulty? Are you looking for a solution or keep dwelling about the problem?

Are we doing the right thing by setting extremely high, often unrealistic, performance expectations for our children or employees with no room for error?
  • What it's like living in constant state of fear of failure or making mistakes? How does us being is such mindset state effects our performance and everyday life?
  • What is the most productive state to be in to perform at the top of your game, to be happy, and try harder despite making mistakes and facing obstacles along the way while pursuing our goals, wants and needs?
  • How does following 'doing your best' mindset translates into our professional life, our career, and performance?
